The objective of this project is to replace all existing cell doors / locks, security vestibule doors / locks and overhead security gates and locks and associated electrical work including low voltage controls. Strollo Architects provided Design Development, Construction Documentation, shop drawing review, reviewed existing operating procedures to ensure compliance with all Corrections / Intelligent Security Systems requirements, and clearly showed all required information in the Construction Documents, Construction Administrative Services. The doors / locks replacement includes the following buildings:

• The Main (Buildings A, B, D, E and F)
• Horizon Facility
• Genesis Facility
• Phoenix Facility
• Female Detention Center
• Booking / Release Center

The work of this project consists of removing and replacing existing sliding trap door mechanisms and controls from the buildings by installing new sliding door operating mechanism and repair / refurbish existing frames and security glazing, installing new controls, repairing existing flooring at doors, patching and painting existing CMU walls, and stripping and re-painting existing doors and frames.
